Choosing products

Most of the time we find there is uncertainty about the basic maintenance of hair. We find that basic cleansing and conditioning are a problem for most people. Either they are using the wrong type of shampoo or not conditioning their hair properly and it's often just too confusing to know what to use. The degree of moisture in the hair will determine which shampoo and conditioner you will need to bring the hair back to a moisture balanced pH state. You will not have styling or color success without properly treated hair.

We love hair products. Without them, we can't achieve the looks we desire in the studio or behind the chair and neither can you. It is necessary to have a variety of different styling aids; among them should be a leave-in conditioner, holding product, pliable texturizer, a topical shiner and a straightener. It is important to use the right styling product for the right look. Products come in many different consistencies that bring a vast versatility to the styling arena. It is important to experiment and to practice. You can never have too many products.
